Arson Attack in Milton Keynes: Police Hunt Man in Face Mask
Police are on the lookout for witnesses after a terrifying arson incident in Milton Keynes.
At around 3.20pm on Monday (12/10), a 29-year-old woman was at home with two children on Temple, Stantonbury, when an unknown man knocked on her door. When asked what he was doing, the man said he had the wrong address and left.
Moments later, a loud bang echoed, followed by a plume of orange smoke at the front of the property. The woman quickly evacuated her home into the garden. Neighbours rushed to help, trying to douse the flames before firefighters arrived.
Suspect Description
The suspect is described as a white man, about 5ft 5ins tall, with an average build. He has short, messy light brown hair and was wearing a face mask. At the time, he sported blue tracksuit bottoms with white stripes and a white jumper.
Investigation Underway – Police Seek Key Witness
Detective Inspector Jason Simpson said: “This was a frightening experience for the victim and their family who were fortunately uninjured.
“I want to speak to anyone with information, especially a man who was with his children and helped put out the fire. We believe he wore a green/black jacket.”
