Woman Found Dead in Greenwich Home – Man Arrested on Murder Suspicion
Detectives are probing after a woman was found dead in a Greenwich house on Henwick Road.
Disturbing Discovery on Henwick Road
Police were called at 10:24am on Friday, 30 October following welfare concerns for occupants at the address. Officers arrived to find the body of a 39-year-old woman inside the property. While formal ID is pending, officers are confident of her identity.
Man Arrested and Taken to Hospital
A 41-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. He was taken to hospital before being transferred into police custody. Detectives believe the victim and suspect knew each other.
Specialist Crime Command Leads Investigation
The Met’s Specialist Crime Command (Homicide) is handling the case. Next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. A post-mortem will be arranged soon.
