Family Mourns Man Killed in Van Crash on London Road, Portsmouth
A beloved family man died after his van crashed into metal railings on London Road, Portsmouth. The tragic smash happened at 1.27pm on Tuesday, April 6.
Van Driver Mark Pinhorne Dies at Scene
Mark Pinhorne, 59, from Sandown Road, Cosham, was behind the wheel of a silver Renault Trafic when the collision occurred. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family Pays Heartfelt Tribute
“A loving husband, dad, grandad, son and brother, Mark Pinhorne sadly passed away on 6th April 2021,” the family said.
“Mark was devoted to his large family and a true family man. His wife Alison, seven children, and extended family and friends are utterly devastated.
“A hole has been left in our hearts that can never be filled. We’re proud he loved us all so much and grateful to have shared his life.
“We would also like to thank all the emergency services who tried so hard to save him. You were incredible, and we can’t thank everyone who helped enough.”
