Man in Critical Condition After Crash on A2042
Kent Police rushed to a crash scene at 1.10am on 5 June 2021 on the A2042 Ave Jacques Faucheux. A silver Suzuki Alto and a black Mercedes E220D collided near the roundabout with Norman Road.
Driver Seriously Hurt in Early Morning Smash
The Suzuki’s driver, a man in his 30s, was rushed to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains in a critical condition. The Mercedes driver escaped unscathed. Both cars were heading the same way towards the roundabout before the collision.
Road Reopens After Hours-Long Closure
The road was shut for several hours while police worked the scene. It has now reopened to traffic.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers from Kent’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are hunting for witnesses. They want to hear from anyone driving along the A2042 between 12.50am and 1.05am on the day of the crash.
