Two Rough Nights in Hythe: Police Hunt for Witnesses After Twin Assaults

Kent Police are on the lookout for info after two violent incidents hit Hythe in just two days.

Monday Morning Attack in Bank Street

At 8.20am on Monday 5 July, officers rushed to Bank Street where a man had been assaulted. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment. Two suspects were arrested but later released under investigation.

Tuesday Early Morning Brawl

Less than 24 hours later, at 6.35am on Tuesday 6 July, police returned to the same spot after a reported scuffle between a group of men. Three people needed hospital care. Five men were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

Police Link Both Incidents, Seek Witnesses
