Man, 39, Suffers Serious Facial Injuries
Police have launched an urgent appeal after a 39-year-old man was left with facial injuries during a violent fight on Palmerston Road just after 2am on Sunday.
The injured victim was rushed to hospital, where he stayed overnight for treatment and observation.
Three Men Arrested, Now Released Under Investigation
- One 20-year-old from portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth was arrested for causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
- The second was held on suspicion of attempted wounding with intent.
- The third was arrested for attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
All three men were arrested at the scene but have since been released under investigation.
Police Plea: Witnesses Needed to Solve the Crime
“Although this happened in the early hours, the area would have been busy with people,” said Det Con Hollie Loader.
“We’re appealing to anyone who saw the fight or events leading up to it. If you captured any footage on your phone, please come forward.
