Police were called to Market Street in Kidsgrove just after 11:35 p.m. following reports of a man found injured.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics quickly arrived and treated the man before rushing him to hospital. His injuries are believed to be severe.

Suspect Arrested and Held in Custody

A 45-year-old man from Newcastle-under-Lyme has been arrested on suspicion of causing bodily harm without intent. He remains in police custody as the inquiry continues.
