Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of a house fire on Boundary Road in Ramsgate. Four fire engines responded, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire on the first floor.
Two people were handed over to SECAmb paramedics, both of whom were suffering from smoke inhalation and minor burns.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
