West Hougham Candle Fire Leaves Three Injured
Chaos broke out in The Street, West Hougham, Dover, when a candle left unattended sparked a house fire early on Wednesday, 2 August 2023. Three people suffered minor smoke inhalation in the blaze.

South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) paramedics assessed three people for smoke inhalation. Thankfully, the injuries were minor thanks to the prompt emergency response.
KFRS volunteer responders also offered support and guidance to the shaken household after the fire.
