Tragedy on Harborough Road: Boy Stabbed to Death
Emergency services raced to Harborough Road near The Cock Hotel at around 3.35pm after reports a boy had been stabbed. Despite desperate efforts from paramedics, the youngster died shortly after.
Four Males Held Over Deadly Stabbing
Police have arrested four males aged 49, 21, 16, and 14 in connection with the boy’s death. All remain in custody as officers dig deeper into the case.
Crime Scene Locked Down as Investigation Continues
A police cordon stretches along Harborough Road from The Cock Hotel to Waitrose. It’s expected to stay overnight and into tomorrow as detectives carry out house-to-house enquiries.

Detective Inspector’s Plea to Witnesses
“This is a heart-breaking tragedy. A young life lost far too soon,” said Detective Inspector Simon Barnes. “We’re determined to bring those responsible to justice. Arrests have been made, but we need anyone with information who hasn’t come forward to get in touch immediately. “While we believe this was an isolated incident, police visibility in Kingsthorpe will remain high to support the community. Please approach any officer if you have concerns.”
