Family issue appeal as police continue to search for missing Sherston teenager

In a positive development, the missing teenager from Sherston, near Malmesbury, has been successfully located and is now safe and in police care.

Fourteen-year-old Leah Mullins had been reported as missing on Friday evening, prompting a search operation by Wiltshire Police to locate her and ensure her well-being.

This evening, officers involved in the search were able to locate Leah at a property located outside the county. The police have confirmed that Leah is now safe and receiving the necessary care and support.

In connection with this case, a man in his twenties has been apprehended on suspicion of child abduction. He is currently in police custody, where he will be questioned by authorities as part of their ongoing investigation.
