Fatal collision on M4 Motorway Near Wiltshire Border as Man Struck While Crossing

A tragic incident occurred on the M4 motorway near the Wiltshire border, resulting in the death of a man who was struck while reportedly crossing the eastbound carriageway.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident at approximately 9:40 PM on Sunday, January 7, east of Junction 15 in Swindon. Responding to reports of a pedestrian being hit, they arrived at the scene promptly.

Tragically, the man, identified as being in his 80s, was pronounced dead at the site of the collision. His family has been informed of the devastating incident.
