Wiltshire Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a police officer was seriously injured during an incident in Swindon on the night of January 13, 2024. The officer is believed to have been struck by an electric bike, leading to a subsequent arrest.
A 17-year-old male has been taken into custody on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent in connection with the incident. The injured officer is currently receiving treatment in a hospital, with his family at his side. The Old Bailey has been jailed for murder" target="_blank" rel="noopener">police force is also providing welfare support to the injured officer, his family, and his colleagues.
