A devastating road traffic collision on the A13 in Wennington Marshes, Rainham, has resulted in the deaths of three individuals. Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 10pm on Monday, July 15, following reports of the incident.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police, along with paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service and crews from the London Fire Brigade, responded promptly to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered three vehicles involved in a severe collision.
Tragically, three people were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth individual was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
The A13 has been closed to allow for a thorough investigation and to ensure the safety of all involved. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and expect significant delays in the area.
