A Sidcup home has been left “demolished” after a car crashed into it on Saturday evening

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) responded to the incident on Birchwood Avenue at 6:38 pm on July 13.

Emergency services arrived to find a car had collided with a garden wall and garage of the property. Fortunately, no one was trapped in the vehicle, and there were no reports of injuries.

Firefighters worked with other emergency service partners to secure the scene. Two fire engines and a fire rescue unit were deployed to manage the situation.

The homeowner, described the aftermath: “Someone hit the wall of the house and demolished it. Practically one-third of the front part of the house is missing.”

Photos show the London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police at the scene, working to make the area safe.

While the structural damage is significant, the quick response from emergency services ensured the safety of all involved.
