Wiltshire Police are appealing for information following a knife-point robbery that took place in Swindon. The incident occurred at approximately 1:15pm on September 15, when a man in his 20s was walking along Burbage Road. He was approached from behind by two males on electric bikes.

One of the men pulled out a knife and demanded that the victim hand over money. Fortunately, the man was not injured during the encounter. The robbery was interrupted by a member of the public who walked around the corner at the time, causing the suspects to flee.

PC McGuigan, leading the investigation, said: “We believe the suspects were disturbed by a woman walking in the area at the time. She was reportedly wearing a pink top. If this was you, please contact us as you may be able to assist with our enquiries.
