Four people have been arrested following the death of a man in his 20s after a reported assault in Canterbury.
Kent Police were called to a disturbance on the city’s High Street, near the junction with St Margaret’s Street, at 11:31 pm on Thursday, 10 October 2024.

Emergency services arrived at the scene and found the victim suffering from injuries consistent with stab wounds. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

In connection with the incident, four men have been arrested and taken into custody as investigations continue.

A cordon has been established in part of Canterbury High Street, with officers remaining in the area to carry out enquiries. Police are urging anyone with information who has not yet spoken to officers to come forward.
