A man in his 20s has been hospitalized following a stabbing on Camden High Street in North London late Friday night (November 1). The Metropolitan Police were alerted to the incident around 10:40 p.m., prompting a swift response from both officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

The victim, who sustained stab injuries, was rushed to a nearby hospital. Medical assessments determined that his injuries, while serious, were not life-threatening.

The busy Camden Town underground station was closed as authorities secured the area and conducted investigations. Transport for London (TfL) confirmed the station’s closure via social media platform X, urging commuters to seek alternative routes. The Met Police have maintained a heavy presence, with a crime scene cordon still in place hours after the incident.

Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing, and the High Street remains closed to the public as enquiries continue.
