Fears Grow for Missing Teen Ania Czopinski Following Disappearance in Poland

An urgent search is underway for Ania Czopinski, an 18-year-old former Miss Teen Great Britain semi-finalist, who vanished in Poland over a week ago.

Ania was last seen on CCTV at Krakow John Paul II International Airport at around 11 PM on Monday, 11 November 2024. Footage shows her walking through the airport lobby, pulling a suitcase with hand luggage on top. She was wearing grey ripped jeans, a black jacket, and black trainers at the time.

No Documents or Mobile Phone

Authorities have revealed that Ania, of Polish origin, does not have any identification documents or a mobile phone with her. Despite her heritage, she has never been to Poland before and does not speak the language, further heightening concerns for her safety.

The District Police Headquarters in Krakow issued a public appeal for information, stating:
“An 18-year-old British citizen has gone missing. People with any information about the missing person are asked to contact the Police Department in Zabierzow. Thank you for your help.”

Ania is described as being 160-170cm tall, of lean build, with dark blonde hair.

Previous Disappearance

This is not the first time Ania has gone missing. In August, she failed to return home after attending Leeds Festival. Her parents launched a social media appeal for her safe return, and she was eventually found. At the time, her father, Stephen Czopinski, shared his relief, posting:
“I’m glad to report Ania is safe and sound and back home now. We really appreciate your concern and well wishes.”

Family and Police Desperately Searching

Ania’s parents have not yet spoken publicly about her latest disappearance, but the family is said to be devastated.

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has confirmed that while it has not been approached for assistance, it stands ready to support British nationals abroad.
