Police Appeal to Identify Suspects After Burglary and Vehicle Theft in Exeter

Devon and Cornwall Police have launched a public appeal for information as they investigate a burglary and vehicle theft that occurred earlier this month in Exeter.

Officers were called to Rosebarn Avenue on Monday 3 March, following reports of a break-in during the night in which thieves gained entry to a residential property.

Items Stolen During Burglary

The suspects reportedly stole car keys, a mobile phone, headphones, passports, bank cards, and a quantity of cash from inside the home. In addition, a hire vehicle parked on the driveway was also taken during the incident. The stolen car was later recovered, but investigations remain ongoing.

Police Release Images of Two Individuals

Devon & Cornwall Police have now released images of two individuals believed to have information that could assist the investigation.

A police spokesperson said:

“We are seeking the public’s help to identify these two individuals following a burglary and vehicle theft in Exeter. The incident occurred overnight on Rosebarn Avenue on 3 March.
A hire vehicle was stolen from the driveway along with other personal belongings, including passports and cash. The vehicle has since been located.
We believe the individuals pictured may be able to help with our enquiries.”

Public Urged to Assist

Anyone who recognises the individuals or has information related to the incident is urged to contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 101 or via the police website, quoting crime reference number 50250053337.

Alternatively, anonymous reports can be made via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Officers continue to work to identify those responsible and return any remaining stolen items to the victims. Further updates will be shared as the investigation progresses.
