Firefighters from Stanmore, Harrow, Mill Hill, and nearby stations mobilised quickly after the first call hit control at 10:53pm. Using two 32-metre turntable ladders as water towers, crews battled the blaze from above and on the ground. The situation was brought under control by 12:19am.
