A person has died following a serious incident at Mill Hill Broadway Station in north London on the evening of Wednesday, April 16.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 6:09pm, after reports of an incident on the railway line. The London Ambulance Service (LAS) responded with multiple units, including ambulance crews, an incident response officer, members of the hazardous area response team (HART), and London’s Air Ambulance.
In a statement, a spokesperson for LAS said:
“The first of our teams arrived in under four minutes. Very sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The circumstances surrounding the incident have not been officially confirmed, and the person’s identity has not yet been released.
Train services between St Albans City and London St Pancras International were temporarily disrupted as emergency crews worked at the scene, but services resumed by 7:45pm.
