Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Serious Motorcycle Collision in Plymouth

Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision involving a motorcycle in Plymouth this morning.

Emergency services were called shortly after 9am to reports of a collision at the Victoria Road junction with Normandy Way.

The male rider of the motorcycle was taken to Derriford Hospital, where his injuries have been assessed as life-changing. No other vehicles have been confirmed to be involved at this stage.

Victoria Road remains closed to traffic while officers from the Roads Policing Team carry out a thorough investigation at the scene.

A police spokesperson said:

“We are working to establish the full circumstances of the incident and are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or captured it on dashcam or CCTV to come forward.”
