Police are investigating a burglary after a thief dressed as a Just Eat delivery rider broke into a home on Newbury Avenue, London.

The incident has raised concerns about criminals disguising themselves as legitimate delivery workers from companies like Just Eat, Deliveroo, and Uber Eats to gain access to properties.

Authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious behavior, even if individuals appear to be uniformed delivery staff.

Police enquiries are ongoing, and anyone with information or CCTV footage from the area is encouraged to contact the Metropolitan Police by calling 101 or to report anonymously through Crimestoppers.

Residents are reminded to keep doors and windows securely locked and to verify the identity of unexpected visitors.
