Boots Pharmacy in Linthorpe Village has been forced to close today after a dramatic overnight ram-raid.
Police are currently at the scene on Linthorpe Road, where significant damage can be seen to the shopfront. The metal shutter has been smashed in, leaving a gaping hole into the pharmacy.
Boots has advised customers that the Linthorpe branch will remain closed until further notice.
Anyone with information about the ram-raid is urged to contact Cleveland Police or report anonymously through Crimestoppers.
