A male has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed on Barking Road, directly opposite Newham Town Hall, in an incident that unfolded this evening.

Emergency services, including the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service, responded swiftly to the scene. The victim’s condition is currently unknown.

A cordon has been put in place and officers remain on site while enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been confirmed at this stage.
