Teenage Boy fighting for his life after stabbing in Mottingham

A teenage boy is tonight fighting for his life following a stabbing. The youngster is in a critical but stable condition after being stabbed in Mottingham Road, near the junction with Elmstead Lane, on Mottingham around 7pm this evening. Police say there have as yet been no arrests and enquiries into the incident are ongoing. A spokesman for the Met said: “Police were called at approximately 7.05pm on Sunday, June 17 to reports of a male suffering stab injuries in Mottingham Road, near the junction with Elmstead Lane, SE9. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a male, believed aged 15, suffering stab injuries. He has been taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
