Cyclist in Critical Condition After Serious Head Injury in Chislehurst Crash

Police rushed to Station Approach, Chislehurst, at 10.26pm on Thursday, 30 July, after reports of a cyclist collision.

44-Year-Old Cyclist Falls and Suffers Severe Head Injury

Emergency crews, including officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS), arrived promptly. A 44-year-old man had fallen from his bike, sustaining a serious head injury.

Cyclist Rushed to Hospital, Condition Critical

The cyclist was taken by LAS to a south London hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Police are currently awaiting further updates on his health.

Road Closures and Investigation Underway

Road closures and cordons were set up following the incident but were lifted by 3.15am on Friday, 31 July. Authorities say no other vehicles appear to be involved at this time. Police investigations are ongoing.
