Drugs and Guns Bust in Belvedere
Police swooped on a suspected drug deal on Picardy Road, Belvedere, on Wednesday 11 November 2020. Officers stopped a car and found several wraps of what is believed to be cocaine. The two men inside were immediately arrested.
Property Search Uncovers More Crime
Following the arrest, police searched a property on Ruskin Road, Belvedere. Inside, they discovered drug paraphernalia, a pistol, and ammunition. Another man was nabbed at the scene.
Three Charged and Remanded
- Keir Ratcliffe, 33, Nursery Road – charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition without a licence, and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
- John Murrell, 59, Symons Avenue, Chatham – charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
- Andrew Court, 55, Ruskin Road, Belvedere – charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition without a licence, and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
All three suspects have been remanded in custody. They are set to face Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 13 November.
