Man to face court over shocking Rotherham sexual assault
Monjur Khan charged after attack on elderly woman
Monjur Khan is set to appear in court tomorrow morning (Wednesday 2 March) following a sexual assault in Rotherham.
The 70-something victim was attacked on Clifton Bank, Wellgate, on Saturday afternoon. Police rushed to the scene at 1.29pm after reports of the horrific crime.
Khan remanded ahead of Magistrates’ hearing
Khan, who lives at 1 Road, Rotherham, has been charged with sexual assault and related offences. He is currently in custody and will appear before Magistrates’ Court 1 on Wednesday.
