Two stolen rides were seized after a nail-biting police pursuit in Maidstone, with two teenage boys arrested and now on bail.
Erratic Driving Sparks Police Alert
It all kicked off at 12:40pm on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, when Kent Police got tipped off about a motorbike and a moped driving recklessly along Sutton Road in Langley.
Officers quickly arrived and discovered both vehicles had been stolen.

Police Chase Ends in Mote Park
The suspects took off, but with backup from the National Police Air Service, the chase was brought to a halt in Mote Park.
- The moped was recovered on the spot.
- Two boys, aged 16 and 17, were arrested.
- Charges include theft, failing to stop, dangerous driving, and driving without insurance.
- The 17-year-old also faces possession of cannabis charges.
Both teens have since been released on bail pending further investigation.
Second Stolen Vehicle Found Later

At 3pm, officers recovered the stolen motorbike in White Horse Lane, Otham, Maidstone. Police continue to investigate the case and urge anyone with information to come forward.
