Man Arrested Over Epping Murder After Brutal Attack

A man has been arrested following the tragic murder of a 30-year-old in Epping.

Victim Found with Life-Threatening Injuries

Police were called just before 8pm on Tuesday 23 June to reports of a seriously injured man on Epping Road. Officers and paramedics arrived swiftly and rushed the victim, an East Londoner in his 30s, to hospital. Despite desperate efforts, he later died that evening.

Attack Took Place in Epping Car Park

Detectives believe the assault happened in a car park between the Robin Hood roundabout and the Wakes Arms roundabout on Epping New Road.

Suspect Arrested and Released on Bail

On Tuesday 30 June, a 30-year-old London man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been released on bail until 24 July.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detectives urge anyone who was near the scene between 3pm and 8.30pm on 23 June and witnessed anything suspicious to come forward. Motorists with dashcam footage are especially asked to get in touch.
