Gun Crime Crackdown: Police Nab Suspect with Three Handguns and Drugs

Detective Inspector Glenn Butler from Specialist Crime declared, “Our intelligence-led operations in hotspots of gun and gang activity prove we’re serious about tackling street violence.”
He added, “We want to make the streets hostile for anyone handling firearms. This joint effort by Central East BCU and Specialist Crime shows exactly that.”
Weapons and Drugs Seized
During the arrest, officers searched the suspect’s home and uncovered three handguns along with eight rounds of ammunition.
They also found Class A drugs at the address, adding to the haul.
Suspect Held in Custody
The individual remains in police custody at an East London station as investigations continue.
