Tragedy on Alvechurch road as biker dies in morning crash
Crash on Lilley Green Road
A serious collision struck Lilley Green Road, Alvechurch at around 8.15am. The crash involved a motorbike and a car.
Emergency response at the scene
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and the MERIT Trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic rushed in to assist. West Midlands Ambulance Service arrived to find police and firefighters already performing basic life support on the rider.
Life-saving efforts fail
Ambulance crews took over immediately, delivering advanced life support using their enhanced care skills. Despite their best efforts, the biker was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The driver of the car was unhurt,” confirmed a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman.
