Murder Probe Launched After Woman Found Dead in Winson Green
A grim murder investigation is underway after a 46-year-old woman was found dead at a house in Winson Green.
Tragic Discovery on Markby Road
West Midlands Police were called to a property on Markby Road just before 1am on Monday, 23 June. Officers discovered the body of Irene Mbugua, who had suffered serious head and facial injuries.
A post-mortem confirmed these injuries caused her death. A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Police have confirmed they are not seeking any other suspects at this time.
