Man Arrested Over Eastbourne Woman’s Death Released Without Charge

A 73-year-old man held on suspicion of murder after the body of 62-year-old Denyse Harvey was found at her Eastbourne home has been released. Police have confirmed no further action will be taken against him.

Body Found at Weatherby Close Home

Officers were called to a property in Weatherby Close, Eastbourne, on Friday 4 September at 3.25pm. They found Denyse Harvey’s body inside, prompting a murder investigation amid suspicious circumstances.

Investigation Closes, Coroner Inquiries Continue

Detective Inspector Claire Gill said: “Our thoughts remain with all those involved at this tragic time. However, after a thorough investigation and post-mortem, Denyse’s death is no longer being treated as suspicious. The Coroner’s Officer will be continuing enquiries.”
