Lewd Streets of W10: Woman Targeted in Shocking Shopping Trolley Incident
Late-Night Horror in St Charles Square
It was just before 11pm on Sunday, 31 July, when a woman in her 60s was enjoying a quiet walk in St Charles Square, W10. Suddenly, a man approached her, offering to push her shopping trolley. When she declined, things took a sinister twist.
Man Makes Lewd Advances After Refusal
The suspect responded to the refusal with overtly sexual comments and shamelessly rubbed his crotch over his clothes. The victim was left deeply shaken but unharmed.
Police Issue E-Fit Description
The man is described as a black male in his mid-30s, sporting short afro hair and a London accent. He wore a brown leather pilot-style jacket with fur collar and cuffs, plus grey tracksuit bottoms.
PC Jamie Perry, leading the investigation, said: “While the woman was not physically harmed this incident was extremely distressing for her. The behaviour of this man is disturbing – he approached a lone woman, initiated a conversation before making lewd remarks.”
“I would ask anyone who recognises the person in this e-fit to come forward and speak to police immediately.”
