Mystery death of woman found in Southall Park sparks police probe

Woman in 40s found dead in early morning tragedy

Police rushed to Southall Park, Green Drive, at around 6am on Saturday, 17 July, after reports of an unresponsive woman. Emergency crews, including the London Ambulance Service, attended the scene, but sadly, the woman – believed to be in her 40s – was pronounced dead.

Investigations underway as post-mortem begins

The victim’s next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem examination started on Sunday, 18 July, at Fulham Mortuary. So far, no clear cause of death has been determined. Toxicology results are awaited as detectives dig deeper into the circumstances.

Police urge witnesses to come forward

Detective Inspector Sukh Kanwar appealed for help: “Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time. We need anyone who was in or near the park between 10.30pm Friday, 16 July and 1.30am Saturday, 17 July to get in touch if they saw or heard anything unusual.”

There have been no arrests so far. The investigation remains open.
