Man in His 40s Stabbed and Fighting for Life in Battersea
A man in his 40s has been left fighting for his life after a brutal stabbing in London. The attack took place at around 7.31pm on Tuesday, January 26.
Police Called to Stabbing on Queenstown Road
Officers from the Met Police rushed to Queenstown Road, Battersea, following reports of a stabbing. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service also attended the scene.
The victim was found with serious stab wounds and was treated on-site before being rushed to hospital. His condition is currently life-threatening.
Suspect Arrested, Investigation Underway
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. He has since been taken into custody as police launch a full investigation.
A crime scene remains in place while enquiries continue.
“Police were called to an address in Queenstown Road, SW8, at 7.31pm on Tuesday, 26 January to reports of a stabbing,” a Met Police spokesperson confirmed.
