Builder Falls From Scaffolding in Busy Bromley Street

A man believed to be a builder plummeted from scaffolding on Queensway, Bromley, causing chaos on a busy Thursday afternoon.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Police and ambulance crews swooped on the scene around 1pm on Thursday, January 7. Officers quickly set up a cordon blocking off the junction with Fairway.

Two police cars and ambulance vehicles were parked nearby as medics raced to help the injured man.

Man in His 50s Seriously Injured

A Met Police spokesperson confirmed officers were called to Fairway, Orpington, just before 1pm after reports of a person “fallen from a height.”

Alongside the London Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance, they found a man in his 50s with serious injuries. Emergency teams are treating him at the scene.
