Man Left Critical After Bexleyheath Road Rage Horror
A man in his 30s remains in a critical condition following a brutal suspected road rage attack in Bexleyheath in the early hours of August 20.
Violent Clash on Erith Road
The shocking altercation took place around 5:25 a.m. near Mayplace Road on Erith Road. Emergency crews from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene after reports of an injured man.
The victim was swiftly transported to hospital and is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries believed to stem from a fight with another driver involved in the incident.
Suspect Arrested and Released on Bail
Police arrested a 24-year-old man shortly after on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). He was taken to a south London police station and has since been bailed pending further inquiries.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers investigating a possible road rage incident in Bexley have made an arrest. At this early stage, it is believed the man sustained his injuries following an altercation with the occupant of another vehicle.”
