Man in His 40s Found Dead in Enfield – Murder Probe Underway

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation after a man in his early 40s was found unresponsive on Elmhurst Road, Enfield, North London, on Monday afternoon.

Tragic Scene on Elmhurst Road

The victim was discovered just after 3pm on November 6. The London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene but, despite their best efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the location.

Arrest Made in Connection to Death

A man in his early 20s, known to the victim, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Scotland Yard’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the inquiry, and a crime scene remains in place at Elmhurst Road.

Family Informed, Investigation Ongoing

The victim’s family has been informed of the heartbreaking loss. Scotland Yard confirmed the death is being treated as suspicious, with officers continuing to gather details about the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.

The London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 3.01pm on November 6 to reports of an incident on Elmhurst Road, Enfield. We sent an ambulance crew to the scene. Very sadly, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.”
