Tragedy in Maidstone as pedestrian dies in lorry crash
Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a man was fatally hit by a lorry in Maidstone.
Fatal Crash on Hermitage Lane
The grim discovery was made just after 8.30am on Tuesday, 1 February 2022, when emergency crews rushed to Hermitage Lane following reports of a collision involving a lorry. A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Police Launch Witness Appeal
Officers urgently want anyone who saw the crash or spotted the pedestrian’s movements before the incident to come forward. Drivers are also urged to check their dashcams for any footage that could crack the case.
