Woman in 30s Targeted in Attempted Sexual Assault Near Aldi
At around 4.09pm, a woman in her 30s was followed down Southtown Road before an unknown man tried to sexually assault her near Aldi on North Quay.
Manhunt Underway
The suspect is described as a bloke in his 40s, brown hair and stubble, wearing a brown jacket and khaki combat trousers. Police are desperate to find anyone who witnessed the attack or has dashcam, doorbell, or CCTV footage.
Police Step Up Patrols and Appeal for Info
Detective Inspector Donald said: “We are investigating the circumstances around this incident and would appeal to anyone who may be able to help with information or footage. We are also carrying out extra patrols in the area for reassurance.”
