Pedestrian Dies After Hit-and-Run on Movers Lane
Police were scrambled at 9:22am on Monday, 22 January, following a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Movers Lane, near Gordon Road junction in London.
Emergency Services Rush to the Scene
Officers, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance attended immediately. The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was rushed to hospital but tragically died from his injuries despite lifesaving efforts.
“His next of kin have been informed,” police confirmed.
Driver Flees, Two Men Arrested
The driver responsible fled the scene. However, two men have since been arrested and remain in police custody as inquiries continue.

Police urge anyone with dashcam footage or information about the collision to call 101 quoting CAD 1645/22Jan.
