Man in 20s Stabbed in Walthamstow Street Attack
A man in his 20s was stabbed during a shocking midday attack on Wednesday, 28 September 2022 in Forest Road, E17.
Terrifying Stab in Broad Daylight
The victim was standing near the junction with Spruce Hills Road when a suspect approached him. After a brief verbal row, the attacker plunged a knife into the man and fled the scene.
Police officers on patrol found the victim and called the London Ambulance Service" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service. He was rushed to hospital but has since been released following treatment.
Police Hunt Knife-Wielding Suspect
Detective Constable India Allen of the North East Command Unit, which covers Walthamstow, revealed:
“We’ve pursued several lines of enquiry but have yet to identify the suspect. We need the public’s help.”
She urged anyone with information to contact police immediately.
