Man in 20s Stabbed in Walthamstow Street Attack
A man in his 20s was stabbed during a shocking midday attack on Wednesday, 28 September 2022 in Forest Road, E17.
Terrifying Stab in Broad Daylight
The victim was standing near the junction with Spruce Hills Road when a suspect approached him. After a brief verbal row, the attacker plunged a knife into the man and fled the scene.
Police officers on patrol found the victim and called the London Ambulance Service. He was rushed to hospital but has since been released following treatment.
Police Hunt Knife-Wielding Suspect
Detective Constable India Allen of the North East Command Unit, which covers Walthamstow, revealed:
“We’ve pursued several lines of enquiry but have yet to identify the suspect. We need the public’s help.”
She urged anyone with information to contact police immediately.
