Suspect Busted After Shocking Sheerness Stabbing
A quick police response has landed a man in custody following a serious assault in Sheerness.
Violent Attack on Alma Street
On Sunday, 25 February 2024, around 2 PM, a man was brutally attacked on Alma Street. The victim, known to the suspect, was stabbed and suffered serious wounds. He was rushed to hospital but has since been discharged.
Suspect Tried to Dodge Police
After the assault, the suspect sped off in a vehicle. Kent Police instantly launched an investigation, scouring the scene and reviewing CCTV footage.
Man Arrested Within Hours
Just two hours later, officers tracked down and arrested a 49-year-old local man connected to the attack. He is now in custody for questioning.
