Family Mourns ‘Beautiful and Healthy’ Boy
His mother heartbrokenly described Kyron as “a beautiful, healthy boy” who was “just growing and becoming independent” before his sudden death.
“You were just growing and becoming independent, and now you’re gone so quickly,” she said. “We will miss and love you. My son, until we meet again. May God bless you.”
Police Warn of Hidden Dangers in Open Water Swimming
Detective Constable Sam Ostley called the tragedy “devastating” for Kyron’s family and friends. He urged the public to be cautious around natural bodies of water.
“This is a terrifying reminder of how dangerous swimming in open water can be, whether due to the shock of cold water, strong currents, or hidden objects beneath the surface,” he warned.
“We advise people to swim only in designated areas supervised by lifeguards.”
Authorities have asked the public to respect the family’s privacy during this heartbreaking time.
