Woman Rushed to Hospital After Thamesmead Incident
A woman was rushed to a major trauma centre following a serious incident on Greenhaven Drive, Thamesmead, on the afternoon of September 3. Emergency services were scrambled to the scene near Thames Path at around 3:20 PM.
Major Emergency Response on Scene
Ambulance crews, a tactical response unit, an incident response officer, and London’s Air Ambulance all raced to help. The woman received urgent treatment on site before being driven to a London hospital for specialist care.
An eyewitness, who asked to remain anonymous, described the scene: “There’s a major emergency services presence including an air ambulance. The fire brigade also attended a few hours later.”

Photos revealed a flurry of emergency vehicles including police cars, a police van, and several ambulances. Both the Metropolitan Police and London Fire Brigade have been contacted for details about what happened, but the cause of the incident remains unclear.

“We were called at 3:20 PM on Tuesday, 3 September, to reports of an incident in Greenhaven Drive, SE28. Our crews treated a woman at the scene before taking her to a London major trauma centre by road,” a spokesperson confirmed.
