Police were called around 10pm on April 2 to reports of shots fired near Markhouse Road, E17. Two Arrested but Still No Justice

“We believe Amaan was targeted in a gang-related attack,” said Detective Inspector Darren Jones. “He was on the cusp of an exciting future. This tragic murder must be solved, and these killers taken off our streets. We urge anyone with information to come forward.”
Family Grieves as They Renew Call for Help
Amaan’s family issued a moving statement:
“On April 2, 2018, two hooded boys shot Amaan at close range outside Kelmscott Leisure Centre. He passed away the next day.
“Our lives were changed forever by this senseless crime. Amaan was more than just a victim; he was our beloved son, brother, and friend, taken far too soon. We beg anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward.
“We find some comfort visiting his grave daily and praying for justice. The killers must be brought to justice, and we hope the reward encourages people to help.”
